Sophia Nelson
Sophia Nelson is a native of Hackensack, NJ. She was raised in Kingston Jamaica and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1984. Sophia is the President of her own consulting firm, Pinnacle After-School Solutions and a Managing Partner in Upscale Events by Mosaic, (www.upscalebymosaic.com). Sophia career endeavors specializing in the analysis, coordination, program implementation and marketing of Non-Profits and For Profits that specialize in community educational and recreational programs.
Sophia has over fifteen years of experience in applying solutions to community needs. Much of her career has been spent in project management and program development.
Sophia holds an undergraduate degree in Pre-Law and Sociology from Bethune Cookman College (Daytona Beach FL), a Master's degree in Criminological Theory from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa AL), and she is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Public Administration and Policy with a specialization in Non-Profit Management from Walden University.
